The modders Launcher talked with for this story said they've encountered trouble in creating this work in Madden's rigid systems.

"The NFL is going to be mainly concerned about brand good will, being associated with the bad parts of football," Hoeg said. "They're likely to encourage [EA] to eliminate that."
