Even though it can be more optimal, it's highly unlikely that EA would alter the franchise's release schedule, a method they've used for many years. Beyond confusing the long-time participant base, some of whom haven't played Fortnite, it's more financially feasible for them to follow an annual release.Alongside FIFA and Call of Duty, Madden is EA's simple cash-grab, because there's little--if anycompetition. I believe adding an entirely new component to the Madden release may invigorate the product, while also rewarding less lucky individuals with the ability to play the sport. In the event the release schedule worked like a Netflix subscription, worth anywhere from $15-$30 on a reasonable time frame, anyone would be able to play. The seasonal upgrades could also be used in tandem with all live NFL events during the season, which would be a huge hit.
Alas, EA would not embrace a launch schedule of its gaming IPs that are most prized like this for one. It would definitely enhance that the game's reception because little gets shifted each year, upgrades on a tri-monthly schedule to buy Madden 20 coins would help to balance gameplay and challenge players. It would be a very different movie game, but EA doesn't want to change anything but last year's profit margin.Heading to the near future, the gaming world is sure to adapt to these new concepts in interesting ways.
